The company, formerly Abacus Tele-marketing Services, was founded in 2002 to do telemarketing work, a part of the industry known as Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). Local human resources of the province of Bohol, Philippines had been tapped by ETC Solutions as a source for its workforce. Today, without outside assistance, ETC has developed into a call center that can hold 80 seats, and is still expanding.
